Privacy Policy

Movie Hub (“we”, “us”, the “App”) is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and the choices you have.

The short version: Your favourites, watch history and search history are stored only on your device — we never upload them and never see them. We don’t require an account. The only data that may leave your device is (1) standard requests to our movie-data provider and Apple for purchases, and (2) if enabled, advertising measurement — and only after you agree to tracking.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not ask you to create an account or sign in.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or location.
Your Favourites, Watch History and Search History are saved locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party, and are removed when you clear them or delete the App.

2. Information handled by third parties

Apple (subscriptions)

Movie Hub Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

(advertising measurement — only if enabled)

If we run advertising campaigns, the App may include the SDK to measure the effectiveness of those ads (for example, to know that an install or a subscription). When this is active and only after you grant permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, the following may be shared:

If you decline the tracking prompt, the advertising identifier is not used for tracking. You can change your choice at any time in Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking on your device.

3. Your choices & controls

Tracking: allow or deny at the prompt, or change it anytime in your device Settings.
Local data: clear your Favourites, History and Search History from within the App, or remove everything by deleting the App.
Subscriptions: manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

4. Data security & retention

Because your personal lists live only on your device, their security is tied to your device. Network requests use secure HTTPS connections. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

5. Children’s privacy

Movie Hub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
